The Sustainable Thinking exhibition, at Museo Salvatore Ferragamo Museum from 12 April 2019 to 12 February 2021, presents works by international artists and fashion designers focused on the restoration of a more attentive relationship with nature, the use of organic materials, the need for the creative reuse of materials (upcycling), or the relationship between nature and technology, stressing the importance of a col­lective commitment to rethinking society as a whole. The educational book Sustainable Thinking to change the world is proposed as a tool to prompt the interest of young visitors towards issues related to environmental and social sustainability with the aim of creating and/or consolidating awareness on the importance of a civilized, shared and responsible behavior towards other living beings and the environment. Text, photographs, sketches and bring the kids into the tour, for the first time, also in digital format thanks to the virtual tour. The interaction with the materials is possible during the visit thanks to a specific free kit and the presence of touchable-wearable pieces. However, children can reproduce the activity also at home by following the indications provided in the text, doing free research and experimentation, meditating and exchanging opinions with classmates and adults.
