YOUNG ARTISANS AND THE WEB
The initiative, born in 2014, is dedicated to the new generations of artisans and artists, who look to the future aware of the importance to find a synergy between tradition and innovation. This project aims to exhibit traditional technical skills through contemporary communication channels.
The Fondazione Ferragamo is pleased to sponsor the contest again in 2020, in its seventh edition. A special jury will select 10 artisans under 35, providing a specific show area entirely dedicated to them within the Artigianato e Palazzo exhibition, which will be held from 17 to 20 September 2020 in the amazing location of the Corsini Garden, in Florence.
At the same time, a group of 10 influencers operating in craftsmanship, lifestyle, fashion and tourism sectors will be selected and invited to Florence to write and comment on the exhibition in all its aspects.
Furthermore, the contest winners will have the opportunity to visit the Salvatore Ferragamo Archive.
